(888) 445-6644 November 19, 2021 stmarysfirstnation.com COVID Update, November 19, 2021; 1 new case, 7 recoveries November 19, 2021; 4:41 p.m., Sitansisk: New Brunswick Public Health has informed Sitansisk Band Administration of one new case within the community, and seven recoveries. One exposure site was added to the NB COVID Dashboard, 45 Dedham Street. Check the dashboard for more information. A new isolation mandate will come into today at 6 p.m. It requires anyone living with a confirmed positive case to isolate for 14 days as well. Individuals who are fully vaccinated can seek testing on day 5, with a negative result allowing them to cease isolation and a confirmation on day 10. The newly confirmed case brings to total cases to 19, with 7 recoveries bringing the number of active cases within the community to 12. Public Health will monitor the results from tests this week and will return next week to offer PCR testing again. These tests can be done at the Health Centre or at your home if requested in advance from the Health Centre staff. Band-owned facilities will be reopening in the coming days, with additional safety measures in place.
