COVID Update, November 25, 2021; 0 New Cases, 2 New Recoveries
November 25, 2021; 4:26 p.m., Sitansisk: New Brunswick Public Health has informed Sitansisk Band Administration of two new recoveries within the community. The two new recoveries lowers active cases to 10 (27 Total, 17 Recovered.) Public Health will monitor results from PCR testing and provide updates daily. They ask people answer calls from private numbers as this is how calls will appear for the purposes of contact tracing and reporting test results to patients.
NB Public Health notified band members and administration yesterday of potential exposures tied to CHSMES and a bus service. Both are isolated events and Public Health has not recommended further action. All individuals contacted have been given instructions on how to proceed; if you were not contacted, you and your children were not affected.
We thank all who have sought testing and continue to request anyone with COVID-19 symptoms to isolate and seek testing.
