COVID Update, November 22, 2021; 2 New Cases, 2 New Recoveries

 

          November 22, 2021; 4:24 p.m., Sitansisk: New Brunswick Public Health has informed Sitansisk Band Administration of two new cases and two new recoveries within the community. The two new cases bring and two new recoveries bring active cases to 12 (24 Total, 12 Recovered.) Public Health will continue to offer PCR testing this week, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Maqiyahtimok from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Addictions and mental health personnel are on standby 24/7, +1 (506) 688-3721. Rapid testing kits remain available by calling St. Mary’s Security at +1 (506) 447-8721.

 

A new isolation mandate came into November 19, 2021 at 6 p.m. Check the NB Coronavirus Portal for more information. Public Health has asked that people answer calls from private numbers as this is how their calls will appear for the purposes of contact tracing and reporting test results to patients.

 

We thank all who have sought testing and continue to encourage anyone with COVID-19 symptoms to isolate and seek testing as needed.
