COVID Update, November 24, 2021; 3 New Cases, 2 New Recoveries
November 24, 2021; 4:36 p.m., Sitansisk: New Brunswick Public Health has informed Sitansisk Band Administration of three new cases and two new recoveries within the community. The three new cases and two new recoveries lowers active cases to 12 (27 Total, 15 Recovered.) Public Health will monitor results from PCR testing and provide updates daily. They ask people answer calls from private numbers as this is how calls will appear for the purposes of contact tracing and reporting test results to patients.
One of today’s cases visited Chief Harold Sappier Memorial Elementary School (CHSMES) with a very a limited set of contacts. This was an isolated incident, any students or faculty exposed to this individual will be contacted with instructions on whether they need to isolate or seek testing.
We thank all who have sought testing and continue to request anyone with COVID-19 symptoms to isolate and seek testing.
