Employment and Training

About Us

Our Employment and Training goals align with the Indigenous Skills & Employment Training (ISETS) Objective: ” [To] help close the employment and earning gaps between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, with a stronger focus on training for higher quality, better paying jobs rather than rapid re-employment, as well as assisting clients to gain greater skills and find jobs that will support their long-term career success.” Our members may qualify for funding through a range of these opportunities within all of our departments.

Additional Information

Community members may qualify for a range of funding opportunities such as: skills training, employment skills enhancement, job creation partnerships, labour force promotion, and summer student employment. On-site support may include: job searching, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, and employment counseling.
