Summer Royalty Advancements
Chief and Council held a session on June 13, 2023 approving a motion to distribute royalty advancements to the community.
This advancement will be for $400 per member and is only for members without outstanding advances. Advancements will only be processed at the request of members and are only available for five weeks, with the deadline for requesting an advancement being July 18. Members may contact Eris at the band office at 506-458-9511 to request an advancement.
The royalty funding comes from VLT revenues generated at the St. Mary’s Entertainment Centre. Cheques requested by Tuesday will be available for pickup on Thursday, those requested after Tuesday will be available for pickup the following Thursday. The first distribution will be on Thursday, June 22, and the deadline for requesting an advancement is July 18.
Members living afar should confirm their mailing address by calling the band office at the numbers listed above to ensure timely delivery of their cheque.
