COVID-19 Clinics for Community Members
St. Mary’s First Nation will be hosting vaccination clinics for COVID-19 and the Seasonal Flu on the following dates: October 27, 28; November 3, 4
These clinics will provide 1st, 2nd, or 3rd doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine, as well as a flu vaccine; recipients can choose to receive both if desired. Individuals looking to receive a third dose should have had at least six months pass since their second dose, which includes those who received their first two doses at the community clinics in March and April. However, immunocompromised individuals are eligible for a third dose earlier, only 28 days after their second dose.
For the October 27 clinic, only band members and their immediate household contacts should visit; this includes band members both on and off-reserve.
If you have any questions regarding the clinic or vaccination, please do not hesitate to contact the Health Centre for more information.
Updates regarding vaccination for children aged 5-11 are coming, with initial indications suggesting availability by late November, at which time there will be another clinic hosted.
