Sakom Allan Polchies Jr. has been serving St. Mary’s as Sakom since June 2018. The Chief and Council meet weekly to discuss a range of important issues, from government relations and policy, to community-based services along with health and safety concern. These meetings are to ensure that the daily operations align with the strategic plan as reflected by the Council and community priorities. These priorities are mental health and addiction, senior care, economic development, and citizenship.
