JOB POSITING FOR ST. MARYS FIRST NATION RETAIL SALES

PART-TIME SUPERVISOR-TWO NATIONS ONE STOP

JOB SUMMARY:

Work closely with Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure displays are always stocked with product.  Make sure the department is ready for business.  Promote excellent relations with customers and assist them in any way possible to ensure customer satisfaction.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Work with Manager to train staff, and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
• Facilitate the communication of information within the department.
• Maintain an organized storage area to ensure a safe environment and reduce shrinkage and damages.
• Maintain a neat and clean sales area to minimize risk to both customers and staff.
• Stock shelves, while checking for outdated product, and rotating product to maintain freshness.
• Line up and fill displays to maximize sales.
• Handle damaged product to make sure they are returned for credit.
• Merchandize displays for maximum sales.
• Assist with ordering product, when needed, to make sure there is sufficient product to last until the next order.
• Responsible to work cash, and to pump gas.

• Clean any areas needing attention.
• Help customers find products in the store.
• Assist with regular inventories and product pricing for margin.
• Any other items as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience and knowledge of the leadership role is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to lift 10-60lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work all shifts including weekends/evenings.
• Must be able to work without constant supervision.
