Vault / Cage Worker

The vault / cage supervisor will be responsible for ensuring daily operations and procedures are adhered to in all physical money handling practices. They will help train all employees for sorting, consolidating, and reconciling daily cash from all areas and departments of the building.

All security measures put in place from the Director of Finance must be followed and constant checks to ensure safe money handling on a consistent basis. The vault / cage supervisor will also help employees in the cage / vault area find any discrepancies and help them improve their practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reconcile and balance daily cash outs.
• Reconcile and balance daily slot intakes.
• Prepare floats for cashiers and ATMs
• Follow all security protocols to ensure safe money handling.
• Help introduce new protocols to make job safer / easier
• Provide reports as necessary i.e. current asset balance / cash overage and shortage

Confidentiality

• Not to ever discuss cash balances or cash flows outside of upper management
• Never divulge internal messages communications

Rate

• $17-21 neg with experience per hour – 25-35 hours per week
